Question: Website where you can pet political races

Hello, I was wondering if someone could post the website where you can wager on political races, and see the trends of where people are placing their money. I used it watching the Scott Brown election, but I cannot remember the address for the life of me. Thanks for the help in advance, FReepers!! : )

Vanity - Best Movie Download Site

I am looking for Freeper input on their experiences with websites that download full-length movies, mostly to purchase but able to rent if needed. I have various devices that I would like to play them on including an iPhone, PalmTX and of course, my computer. My preference would be to download them to an SD Card (or similar) and use them when my family and I are on the road, etc. Does anyone have any favorites or recommendations to point me to? It appears some sites have a membership and allow you download multiple movies while other sites charge per...

Creating a website:

I want to create a website that is exclusive to conservates or to people I invite. Thus I want to make it "members only." How do I do this? I don't really want to do it on facebook or myspace, although that would be the easy way to do this. Any thoughts?

Need Guidance: Have Frontpage Need to Upgrade to More Flexible Software (Techie Question)

I have a website using Frontpage. It has been good to me. Easy to use, but Frontpage is showing its age. Tried Dreamweaver but had to send it back because it would not run with my Vista 64 bit machine. Adobe was very nice about it. I would love to find a more flexible solution that I could just upgrade my site into. Microsoft has a new website software called Expression and a newer version called Expression 3. I am not looking for slam-bang software, my site is mostly text and links. I am looking to be able to place...

'Climategate' Inspires New Anti-Global-Warming WebsiteDecember 07, 2009 03:55 PM ET By Paul Bedard, Washington Whispers A leading foe of international plans to cut carbon dioxide has landed in Copenhagen, home to the huge climate summit, to play off the recent "climategate" controversy and announce a website that questions the science behind global warming claims. Leighton Steward tomorrow launches SpeakOutForAmerica.com to draw international attention to the impact of proposals expected to be offered by President Obama and other nations at the two-week summit. Steward's concern is that the world will cut CO2 too much, which he says will starve plants and...

Website appeal to fund family planning 'to cut CO2'

Meeting the demand for family planning in poor nations is a cheap and effective way to cut CO2 emissions, a new website initiative claims. The UK-based Optimum Population Trust says fast-rising population levels lead to growing emissions. The website is urging wealthy people to offset their own CO2 emissions by funding contraception programmes

Fiorina Trying to Give Barbara Boxer a new name (and website!)

Republican Senate candidate Carly Fiorina is trying to literally take Sen. Barbara Boxer's title from her. Fiorina has launched a new Web site, callmebarbara.com, to attack her opponent and create a future where people call the senator by her first name, rather than using her title and her last name. "Call me Barbara is an effort to ensure that nobody ever has to call Barbara Boxer 'Senator' ever again," the site reads. The site's name is in response to a situation earlier this year when Sen. Boxer asked Brigadier General Michael Walsh to call her "senator" instead of "ma'am" during...
